Shawn has been actively involved in Slalom Skiing for 14 years. Our head coach has competed as far away as London, England and has been blessed by the coaching of some of the worlds greatest waterskiers including Andy Mapple, Will Asher, Aaron Larkin, Marcus Brown, and Trent Finlayson to name a few. Shawn continues to better his coaching knowledge, taking sport science courses and is a member of the Coaching Association of Canada and the National Coaching Certification Program. Shawn has served on the executive of several local Ski Clubs and once again is serving as Vice President on the Waterski and Wakeboard BC executive. His thoughts on water sports? FUN always comes first....
Braden Parker:
Braden, our Wakeboard Coach hails from Alberta. He has attended wakeboarding clinics to improve his skills and was part of the Kevin Henshaw clinic in the summer of 2009. Braden is also an avid snowboard so his skill set is incredibly transferable. He is attending his first year of University at UBC. Welcome to the West Coast.
Cathy Shorsky:
Cathy is our administration guru. Cathy's thoughts?....."This is a family facility, Welcome to our family". She is a runner and a healthy lifestyle proponent. If you need to bribe her, Pinot Grigio is her favorite.
